What You’ll Need:
- paper
- crayon
- scissors
- 10-inch piece of thin cardboard
- pencil
- aluminum foil or wrapping paper
- glue
- sequins, feathers, glitter, or ribbon
- hole punch
- string
- tape
- wooden dowel

How to Make It:
-
Make a pattern by holding a piece of paper over your eyes and having an adult mark where your eyes are with a crayon. Take the paper away from your face. Cut out an oval at each eye mark.
-
Place the pattern in the middle of a 10-inch piece of thin cardboard and trace the ovals. Remove the pattern. Draw a mask shape around the ovals. Cut out the mask and eyeholes from the cardboard.
-
Trace the mask and eyeholes onto aluminum foil or wrapping paper. Cut out the foil or paper, and glue it to the mask.
-
Decorate the mask with sequins, paper cutouts, feathers, glitter, or ribbon.
-
Punch a hole in each end of the mask, and tie on string to wear it or hang it up. Or securely tape a thin wooden dowel to one side of the mask at the back, and use the dowel to hold the mask up to your face.
